Owned and operated by Lori Plyler and based in Atlanta, Studio Waterstone offers unique, earth-friendly items created primarily from recycled materials.
Lori began her professional career in 1984 as a graphic artist. After marriage and two children, she worked as a portrait artist for many years. In 2006, Lori discovered the limitless art of handmade jewelry and formed Waterstone Jewelry. Her designed encompassed the use of earthy gems, leather and linen as well as fine silver and copper.
The Evolution of Waterstone Jewelry into Studio Waterstone
Lori learned the basics of sewing at an early age and throughout the years created many items using the techniques of needlepoint, embroidery and quilting. As a culmination of this experience, Studio Waterstone’s first handbags were created in late 2009 using original patterns and eco-friendly materials.
Each Studio Waterstone creation is a unique, one-of-a-kind, and earth friendly work of art created to be used and enjoyed for years to come.
